Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or join us by Zoom this Sunday as our youth lead us in worship. The service will begin with the youth singing, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” Riley Kiss will call us to worship and serve as our scripture reader with a focus text from Isaiah 58:1-12 (the fast God seeks). Jonah Bohrer-Purnell will read the poem “There are Birds Here” by Detroit poet Jamaal May. Simon Hendler-Voss, Laura Darling-LaGamma, Eli Coffen, Brendan McFerran and Jonah Bohrer-Purnell will reflect on their service learning trip to Detroit. Moira Jones will sing “WhitSunday” as a special music offering. We will also share in the prayers of the people. A special thanks to Rev. Sam McFerran, who has brought this service together and prepared our youth to lead, along with Erin Williams, who served as a chaperone on the trip. Join us for this inspiring service of worship!
