Dr. Rebecca Voelkel and continue our summer theme, “Sowing the Seeds.” Thaddaeus Elliott will offer a reflection as our call to worship. Rev. Sam will share a message with our children. Mary Pence and Anthony Leonard will serve as our scripture readers with focus texts from Luke 19:1-10 (Zacchaeus) and Ephesians 4:25-5:2 (don’t let the sun go down on your anger). In lieu of a sermon, Rev. Amanda will facilitate a conversation with the Rev. Dr. Rebecca Voelkel on her journey into reparations and the “Sacred Reckonings” curriculum she has created. Dr. Karen Bartman will serve as our guest keyboardist. We will also share in the prayers of the people. Join us!
