Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom as we enjoy the annual First Church Christmas Pageant on this second Sunday in Advent. Three generations of the Pence family will light the candle of peace, continuing our theme “Words for the Beginning.” Sofia Prentice will serve as our scripture reader with a focus text from Isaiah 9:1-9 (Prince of Peace). For the message, our children and youth will present this year’s Christmas Pageant, written and directed by Rev. Sam McFerran with music led by Dennis Turner. We will also speak together the prayer of our savior. Join us as we prepare our hearts to receive the mystery of incarnation.
Following worship, join us in the Community Hall for our annual Cookie Exchange, coffee, and fellowship, hosted by the Gerlach-Mack family and Erin Williams. All are welcome! Bring 2-3 dozen cookies, and leave with a plateful; any cookies above 2 dozen will be set aside for the Drop-In Center.
