Our youth, under the leadership of Rev. Sam McFerran, will call us to worship with the words of Dr. King and their own reflections. The People&#8217;s Rhythmic Choir will offer a liturgical dance selection to &#8220;I&#8217;ve Been &#8216;Buked and I&#8217;ve Been Scorned.&#8221; Sandy Sorensen and Rev. Jason Carson Wilson will serve as our scripture readers\u00a0with focus texts from Psalm 40:1-11 (doing God&#8217;s will) and Matthew 5:13-16 (you are the salt of the earth). We will also hear a reading of Dr. King&#8217;s words. Dr. Baskett-Tippett will preach the sermon. Rev. Amanda will lead us in prayer. We will close the service with our longstanding tradition, singing &#8220;We Shall Overcome&#8221; with Dennis Turner serving as our Designated Musician.
