Pentecost Sunday: May 31
On Pentecost Sunday we celebrate the birth of the church and the power of the Holy Spirit, symbolized by fire. This year, we invite you to wear red, and prepare your worship space at home with a candle you can light. At the beginning of worship, we will wave candles, streamers, or cloth of red, orange, or yellow, or flames created by children (Rev. Sam will send instructions) at home. We are also seeking worship participants fluent in other languages (including American Sign Language). If you speak another language and would be willing to participate in worship, please email Rev. Amanda at email@example.com.
