We are delighted to welcome you to First Church for another wonderful Summer Worship Service as we reflect upon our Summer Theme, “Unsung Heroes”.
Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or join us by Zoom this Sunday for worship. Alisa Tanaka-Dodge will call us to worship with a personal reflection on our summer theme. Rev. Sam will lead a time with our children. Worship and Wonder’s quartet of Resmina William, Abigail Cipparone, Michael Hopkins and Casey Capsambelis will offer special music, singing “10,000 Reasons” by Matt Redman. Susan Anderson and Kevin Anderson will serve as our scripture readers with texts from Jeremiah 1:4-10 and Luke 4:21-30. Young Adult Trevor Baker will provide the sermon.
Finally, we are so grateful to Karen Bartman, who will serve as our guest music director this Sunday. Join us!
Our children will begin worship with us in the sanctuary. Following the passing of the peace, they will move to the Living Room for Sunday School during the sermon. The nursery will be open throughout the morning for infants and toddlers.
