Worship with Us This Sunday
Click here to join us this Sunday by Zoom at 10:30 AM as we conclude our Eastertide theme of “Love One Another.” Nick McConnell will offer a personal Call to Worship, Rev. Sam will share about last week’s interfaith service experience at a Sikh Gurdwara, LaTayna Purnell will serve as our scripture reader with a focus text from John 17, and Rev. Amanda’s sermon will reflect on Jesus’ prayer “that they all may be one, as we are one.” The opening voluntary, musical selection and closing voluntary will be representative of the Trinity—three different styles but all by J.S. Bach. Join us!
Following worship, please stay for a nurture with the Rev. Dr. Roger Gench entitled “Dangerous Memory: An Anti-Racist Political Theology of the Cross.” Dr. Gench is the former Senior Pastor of New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC, a former leader in the Washington Interfaith Network (WIN) and has been a wonderful mentor to Rev. Sam over the years. This nurture will take the place of our Zoom coffee hour.
If you’re worshiping with us or visiting our site for the first time and would like to be on our email list, please fill out a Visitor’s Card. We’d love to hear from you!
