Worship with Us This Communion Sunday
Click here to join us this Sunday by Zoom at 10:30 AM as we launch our new summer worship theme, “Wade in the Water.” Mary Hayes will lead us in a prayer of confession and provide words of assurance, Rev. Laura Johnson will offer a meditative centering moment, and Randy Jones will serve as our scripture reader. Rev. Amanda will preach on “God’s gonna trouble the waters,” with a focus text of John 5:1-18. Rev. Sam will offer a children’s moment and lead the prayers of the people, and we will be blessed with special music from Polly Gordon and Judith Gray. We will celebrate communion together, so please prepare your worship tables at home with the elements of bread and cup, which we will bless together.
Following worship, please join us for a nurture on microaggressions and building an anti-racist world co-led by Lynaya Morris, MDiv, and Rev. Sam. This conversation will take place on the same link as our worship service in place of our usual coffee hour.
