Worship with Us this Second Sunday in Lent

Click here to join us by Zoom or click here to sign-up to join us in the sanctuary for worship this second Sunday in Lent as we continue our theme, “the Breath of Life.” David Greer will serve as our liturgist, extinguishing our second Lenten candle as we journey deeper into the shadows of the season. Rev. Sam will gather our children (in-person!) for a Children’s Moment, followed by our first Sunday of in-person Sunday school (for ages 5 and up). Ellen Bushmiller and Mary Alice Ball will serve as our scripture readers with texts from Genesis 3 (the serpent and the apple) and Ephesians 2. Rev. Amanda will preach on sin and grace. The choir will offer the song of response following the Lenten candle liturgy and an anthem, “Gracious Spirit Dwell with Me.” We will also share in prayers of the people. This second Sunday of the month we invite you to give to our special offering, One Great Hour of Sharing, an ecumenical special offering to provide disaster relief and aid refugees.
