Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom on this fourth Sunday of Advent as we enjoy this year’s Christmas Cantata directed by Leela Koilpillai, featuring the First Church Choir, the Gabrieli Quintet, and guest musicians. Dwan Reece and Maya King will light the Advent candle of Love. Cynthia Hobbs and Nan McConnell will serve as scripture readers with focus texts from Isaiah 52 (messenger who announces peace) and Matthew 1 (birth of Jesus). The Rev. Jean Alexander will share the reflection, “Why the Chimes Rang.” We will also join together in the prayers of the people. Join us!
Our children will begin worship with us in the sanctuary and, following the passing of the peace, are welcome to attend Sunday School with Rev. Sam in the Christian Education suite or remain in the worship service to enjoy the music with their parents.
Following worship, join us in the Community Hall for coffee hour and our annual cookie exchange, hosted by Lindsay Swisher of Care of Parish. All are welcome!
