Please join us for the Spring Congregational Meeting on Sunday, May 21 at noon, following the regular worship service. This will be a hybrid meeting with both Sanctuary and Zoom attendees. One key item will be an update on our Racial Justice work, in light of our Racial Justice Audit last year. We will also have a year-to-date budget update and a brief report on our Safe Church Policy. In December of last year, Council adopted the first phase of a Safe Church Policy, focused on the safety of our children and youth by setting standards for appropriate screening and training for staff and volunteers. This year Council will also be aiming to arrive at a second phase of this policy, focused on the risk of gun or other violence, physical/mental health crises, and natural disasters. Your attendance and input at our three yearly Congregational Meetings enable us to determine how we live our faith and enact the policies to make this happen.
