Jason Carson Wilson will offer a reflective call to worship. Riley Kiss and LaTayna Purnell, Member in Discernment, will serve as our scripture readers with focus texts from Isaiah 43:18-21 (a new thing) and Matthew 9 (woman with the issue of blood). The First Church Choir will sing the anthem “A Promise for Strength.” Sandy Sorensen will preach a sermon entitled, “The Power and Mystery of Encounter.” Jason Laney of SMYAL (empowering LGBTQ+ youth) will share more about the organization, which will be the recipient of our second Sunday offering.
