Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom this Sunday as we welcome youth from the Minnesota Conference of the United Church of Christ to worship with us. Lindsay Swisher, our Assistant Moderator, will call us to worship with a personal reflection on our summer worship theme, “A New Thing.” Karen Tramontano and Thaddaeus Elliott will serve as our scripture readers with focus texts from Genesis 28 (Jacob’s ladder) and Romans 8 (spirit of adoption). Marian Drake will provide special music, and Rev. Amanda will preach a sermon entitled “Surely God is in this Place.” We also welcome Jesse Dolojan, Climate Hope Intern, who will provide a Moment for Climate Justice and invite us to take action in concert with other UCC congregations. Children will begin the morning in worship, then following the passing of the peace they will move to the Christian Education suite for Summer Sunday School, led this week by Kim Darling and Susan Anderson as Rev. Sam is on sabbatical.
