Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom as we enjoy the annual First Church Christmas Pageant on this second Sunday in Advent. The Chaffee-Hobbs family will light the candle of peace, reflecting on our theme “How does a Weary World Rejoice?” Joseph Darling-LaGamma will serve as our scripture reader with a focus text from Isaiah 9:1-19 (Prince of Peace). For the message, our children and youth will present this year’s Christmas Pageant, entitled “God Comes to Create Peace in the World,” written and directed by Rev. Sam McFerran with music led by Dennis Turner. We will also speak together the prayer of our savior. Join us as we prepare our hearts to receive the mystery of incarnation.
Following worship, join us in the Community Hall for our annual Cookie Exchange, coffee, and fellowship, hosted by David Greer and Polly Gordon of Care of Parish. All are welcome!
