Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom this Transfiguration Sunday, the final Sunday before our Lenten journey begins. Sandy Sorensen will offer a reflective call to worship. Rev. Sam will introduce our children to the season of Lent. Riley Kiss and Polly Gordon will serve as scripture readers with focus texts from 2 Kings 2 (Elijah ascends to heaven) and Mark 9:2-9 (transfiguration of Jesus). The First Church Choir will sing “I Will Trust in the Lord,” as we continue our celebration of Black History Month. The Rev. Sydney Avent will serve as our preacher. Dennis Turner will serve as our guest musician. Rev. Amanda will also lead us in prayers of the people.
