Cindy, LaTayna, and Jonah Bohrer-Purnell will serve as our Lenten candle liturgists as they reflect on our theme “Written on the Heart” and extinguish a candle, drawing us deeper into the shadow of this season. Rev. Sam will share a time with our children. The First Church Choir will sing the anthem, “Precious Lord, Take My Hand.” Susan Anderson and Lynn Gaaserud will serve as our scripture readers with focus texts from John 3:14-21 (God so loved the world) and Ephesians 2:4-10 (by grace you are saved). Rev. Amanda will preach. We will introduce our Second Sunday Special Offering recipient, One Great Hour of Sharing. We will also share in the prayers of the people. Join us!
