Amanda will share a time with our children. The First Church Choir will sing Hal Hopson’s “Canticle of Praise” under the direction of Leela Koilpillai. Thaddaeus Elliott and Rev. Laura Simmons will serve as our scripture readers with focus texts from John 15:1-8 (I am the true vine) and 1 John 4:7-12 (God is love). Rev. Amanda will introduce Rev. William Young IV, Pastor of Covenant Baptist UCC in DC, who will preach the sermon. We will also share in the prayers of the people. Join us!
