Dennis Turner will serve as our Designated Musician. Rev. Sam will lead us in a litany for labor justice and seminary intern Chandra DeNap Whetstine will guide us in the prayer of confession and words of assurance. Lauren McFerran and Mike Zawada will serve as our scripture readers with focus texts from Matthew 7:1-12 (golden rule) and James 1:22-27 (be doers of the word). Tanya Wallace-Gobern, Executive Director of the National Black Worker Center, will bring us the message. Andrew Hamilton, Nora Marsh, and Dwan Reece will provide special music, singing “People Get Ready.” Rev. Amanda and Rev. Sam will preside over communion. For those joining us from home, please prepare your tables with the elements of bread and cup, which we will bless and break together.
