Join us at 10:30am in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom on this Stewardship Sunday as we launch the season’s theme, “Imagine Together,” and welcome the Rev. Dr. Velda Love as our guest preacher. Peter Byrne will call us to worship with a moment for stewardship. Rev. Sam will share a message with our children. Abigail Cipparone and LaTayna Purnell, Member in Discernment, will serve as our scripture readers with focus texts from Isaiah 61:1-2 (the Spirit of the Lord is upon me) and Matthew 13:1-9 (Parable of the Sower). The Rev. Dr. Velda Love, Minister for Racial Justice in the national setting of the United Church of Christ, will preach a sermon entitled, “Deeply Rooted in God’s Abundant Love.” The Witness & Wonder ensemble of Casey Capsambelis, Michael Hopkins and Reshmina William will provide a musical offering, “Build Your Kingdom Here,” and all are invited to join in on the chorus. Dennis Turner will serve as our musician with Michael Hopkins on percussion. We will also share in the prayers of the people. Join us!
