Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom on this Commitment Sunday as we draw our stewardship season to a close and welcome five new members into the life of First Church. Chandra DeNap Whetstine will call us to worship with a reflection on the theme, “Imagine Together.” Beatriz Suadek and Katie Koza will offer a violin duet. Greta McCaffrey will serve as our scripture reader with a focus text from Hebrews 10:23-25 (provoke one another to love). The second scripture reading will focus on the story of Hannah from 1 Samuel 1:4-20. Rev. Amanda will preach the sermon. We will invite the bringing forward of commitment cards and colorful cards (to symbolize commitments already made) to the worship table. Chandra DeNap Whetstine and Rev. Amanda will offer blessings to anyone who wishes to receive, and then we will bless the commitments and lead the prayer of our Savior. Come and be in community this Sunday.
