Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom this final Sunday in Advent, as we continue our theme, “Words for the Beginning” and welcome musical guests, the Gabrieli Quintet. Rev. Sydney Avent will lead us in the Advent candle liturgy and light the candle of Love. Jamey Moore will share words from Howard Thurman. The First Church Choir will sing “Mary, Did You Know?” under the direction of Dennis Turner. Jaimie Orr and Abby Goodman-Johnson will serve as our scripture readers with focus texts from Luke 1:39-55 (Mary visits Elizabeth, the Magnificat), and Rev. Amanda will preach. We will also share in prayers of the people. Michael Hopkins will accompany the service on percussion. Join us!
