Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom this communion Sunday as we mark Epiphany, a season of new light made manifest in the birth of Jesus Christ for all. Meg Maguire will call us to worship with a personal reflection. Chandra DeNap Whetstine will lead us in the prayer of confession and words of assurance. Moira Jones and Peter Byrne will serve as our scripture readers with focus texts from John 1:6-18 (Word became flesh) and Matthew 2:13-19 (flight of the Holy Family to Egypt). Rev. Amanda will preach the sermon. The First Church Choir will offer the anthem, “Sing Them Over Again to Me” under the direction of Dennis Turner. Rev. Sam and Rev. Amanda will invite all to the communion feast, and we will also provide you with a “star word” as a guiding vision for the year.
