Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom this first Sunday in Lent, as we begin our forty day wilderness journey toward the cross. Lent invites us into the ancient practices of penance and preparation; penance as we lament the brokenness of the human condition; and preparation as we ready our hearts to receive the mystery of resurrection at Easter. Michael Enseki-Frank will serve as our Lenten candle liturgist, reflecting on this year’s theme, “Everything in Between: Meeting God in the Midst of Extremes.” Rev. Sam will offer a time with our children. The St. Alban’s boys choir, including Brendan McFerran, will serve as our musical guests. Abby Goodman-Johnson will lead us in a responsive reading adapted from Psalm 91, and Ryan McFerran will serve as our scripture readers with focus text from Luke 10:25-37 (The Good Samaritan). Rev. Amanda will preach. We will also join in the prayers of the people. Join us!
