Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom as we welcome Sophia Miyoshi as our preacher on this Labor Justice Sunday. Rev. Amanda returns from sabbatical and will offer words of welcome. Kristen Wheeler will guide us in the prayer of confession and words of assurance. Special Music will be provided by Nora Marsh singing “One More Dollar” accompanied by Ulung Tanoto. Andrew Hamilton will serve as our scripture reader with a focus text from Matthew 20:1-16 (parable of the laborers in the vineyard). Rev. Sam will introduce Sophia Miyoshi, Executive Director of ROC-DC (Restaurant Opportunities Center of DC), who will bring us the message. We will also offer the prayers of the people and join together in a unison prayer adapted from Dorothy Day. Following worship, join us in the narthex for coffee and community.
