Join us at 10:30 in the sanctuary or click here to join us by Zoom as we mark Indigenous Peoples Sunday, concluding our fall theme, “Into the Deep.” Dwan Reece will lead us in our land acknowledgement and Jaimie Orr will call us to worship. Rev. Sam will offer a time with our children. Trevor Bakker will offer special music accompanied by Ulung Tanoto. Andrew Hamilton and Simon Hendler-Voss will serve as scripture readers with focus texts from Jeremiah 29:1, 4-7 (seek the welfare of the city) and Luke 17:11-19 (the grateful Samaritan). Rev. Amanda will preach the sermon. Our Second Sunday special offering will go to Neighbors in Need, a special offering of the United Church of Christ to support ministries of justice and compassion, which dedicates one-third of all gifts to the Council for American Indian Ministries (CAIM). We will also share in the prayers of the people. Join us!
