Worship with Us This Communion Sunday
Click here to join us on Sunday morning by Zoom at 10:30 AM as we mark Homecoming Sunday and celebrate communion together. Rev. Karen Byrne will offer a personal call to worship, Abigail Cipparone will serve as our scripture reader with a focus text from Proverbs 1:20 – 2:11, and Rev. Amanda will preach on wisdom as she reflects on the 20th remembrance of 9/11. The Marsh Family singers will provide special music, and Dr. Karen Bartman will serve as our guest musician. On this Communion Sunday, please be sure to set your table at home with the elements of bread and cup, which we will bless together. For those in the sanctuary, elements will be provided as Rev. Amanda and Rev. Sam preside over communion.
Please find our digital worship folder here.
Following worship, please join us for our Zoom coffee hour, a time of fellowship with one another. The optional discussion question will be: What gives you hope as you look toward the fall?
Then at 3:00 PM, we invite you to join us for a Zoom Gathering of Remembrance in honor of the life of Joan King. Stories about Joan will be shared (please note this is not an open-mic, we have an order of those who will share), candles lit, and prayers spoken. The service will also include special music and a slideshow. Click here to join us then. Another reminder will go out on Sunday morning (along with the bulletin) so you can easily find the link. We give thanks for the opportunity to gather virtually with Joan’s family in many time zones. Please plan to join us.
